I am new owner of 1989 SPORT 13. After reading this wonderful forum for weeks I'm considering [rigging the SPORT 13 with] a Suzuki DF30A engine.
Q1: Has any SPORT 13 ever been rigged with a Suzuki DF30A?
Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

A Suzuki DF30A EFI weighs 158-lbs.
In the forum archives there is an good discussion about maximum engine weight for older hulls:

That article does not address the 13-foot hull. However, the article does suggest that for the 15-foot hull the maximum engine weight ought to be limited to about 250-lbs. Using that as a guide for the 13-foot hull, the Suzuki DF30A weight of 158-lbs seems well below what might be the maximum. On the basis of engine weight the Suzuki DF30A would be a good choice.
