Is there any market for a 1982 Whaler Harpoon Sailboat?

Yes, I think HARPOON sailboats by Boston Whaler are easily sold as long as the price reflects the actual value.

My pick for a Whaler Harpoon sailboat would be the 4.6 model. Clean open design that's similar in design to other "one design" sailboats that have a cult like following and successful history in sailboat racing series. Whaler never was accepted into a one design fleet, due to low production numbers and the lack of acceptance of a powerboat manufacturer building sailboats.

I think the 4.6 is a great boat to get out and go sailing for fun, but if I was sailing in a PHRF racing series, there are other boats I'd consider before the Whaler.

I have a 5.2 Harpoon, and decent models seem to go for about $2,000 with trailer.

Thank you for the input. It is a 1982 Harpoon 4.6 on a trailer. Been sitting in a garage for 20 years. I am getting rid of it for my mom and step father. I think 2k seems fair to ask.
