Remember the Whaler Squall

Back in the 70s and into the early 80s the Boston Whaler SQUALL boats were plentiful around here, but I can't remember the last time I've seen one. Back in the day it was a solid boat and even had a sail kit option, but since the introduction of rigid-inflatable-bottom boats and inflatable-type small boats, you can have the same length boat that will take a 15-HP motor and 4 adults with incredible stability.
The design of the Squall was a sailboat-like round bottom which made them roll with any transfer of weight. I'd image this is why they were replaced with inflatable type boats and other fiberglass designs that offered better stability. I'm sure there are plenty of these in backyards on blocks just sitting with people waiting to decide what to do with them.
