Best Way to Sell A Boston Whaler to a Whaler Enthusiast

What would be the best course of action to advertise and sell a boat to someone who is a Whaler enthusiast?

John--If you want to get advice on selling a boat to a Boston Whaler enthusiast, please do not solicit a discussion in the MARKETPLACE forum. MARKETPLACE is only for listings of boats or related items that are for sale, and it is not for discussions about how to sell a boat or how to reach buyers. MARKETPLACE is not a discussion forum.

If you have a boat for sale, the best way to advertise the boat to Boston Whaler enthusiasts will be to post a notice of the boat being for-sale in the MARKETPLACE forum. In your posting, you need to give the following minimal information:

--what is for sale
--where it is located
--what the asking price is
--how to contact the seller

If the boat is owned by a municipality and is being sold at auction, just post a notice giving a link to a website or some other resource where information about the boat and the sale is provided.

Jon - are you talking about the 22' Outrage that we normally see at Anderson Dock in Ephraim? We visit there every summer--right across from Ephraim Yacht Harbor.

If so, Beacon Marine in Sister Bay would probably sell it on consignment, but Boat Trader or YachtWorld would get you a lot of attention as well.
