I would like to purchase a trailer for a 1962 13-foot Boston Whaler boat. I plan to trailer around [the 1962 13-footer], and want I reliability, so I plan to buy a new trailer. I really need a model number for the trailer.
FOR OTHER OWNERS OF A 13-FOOT BOSTON WHALER: tell me what brand and model trailer you use.
BACKSTORY: [I] purchased a 1962 13-footer [mainly] for the [outboard engine] it came with. Then [I] decided to restore the [boat] and keep it. I love the stability of the 13-foot hull. I am selling my other boat.

Re: Trailer for 1962 13-footer
Boat trailers are often manufactured locally, so this investigation or survey of all other owners of 13-footers on trailers may be more useful for you if you disclose where you are located.
Re: Trailer for 1962 13 whaler
One the best (and cheapest) trailers for a classic 13 Boston Whaler is a galvanized EZ Loader model number EZB 12-14 - 1000. It has 12" galvanized wheels and a quiet torsion axle for about the same price as spring trailers. Often discounted to around $800.
Re: Trailer for 1962 13-footer
As mentioned your location is important as is your budget. If you are within three hundred miles or so of Bay St Louis, MS you could contact Sports Trail trailers there. Our Sport 13 has a custom Sports Trail trailer and I've never see a small trailer as well constructed. Like many custom made products Sports Trail trailers are higher priced than a typical small trailer.
If interested let me know and I'll provide contact information.
