Self-surveying 1993 21 Outrage

I'm 1000 miles away from a 1993 21 Outrage and am going to look at it Monday. Any tips? Here's what I know so far:

- Twin Yamaha 150s c. 1993, compression test comes back good >120 psi except one cylinder that's 114
- No idea about hours on engines - I don't think they can pull the numbers off engines this old (?)
- Hull bottom painted but immaculate
- Freshwater use

Questions:

- I want to verify fuel lines and tank are decent. I'm not sure how to check these other than visually.
- I don't want to be fussing with this boat as we'll use it on vacation - how reliable would those engines be?
- Missing stern seat - $2000 to replace, and we'd really like that. Deck chairs may be an option, but not as ideal as the stern seat.
- I'd like to add a t-top, but most fabricators are in Florida, and that's a LONG way from the boat or my house (I'm in Colorado)

Asking price is high for it's age, but it's immaculate. Overall cost is a heck of a lot less, though, than other options that I'm thinking (newer 21' Dauntless for $50k+)

I appreciate any tips you all might have.

Tacky -

Why not mention the state the boat is in and maybe we can find a member who can look at it for you.

I had someone do this for me when buying my first Outrage 17. I was in Maine, the boat in So. VA.

We flew out to visit with family and take a look. It's EXCEPTIONALLY clean, but no t-top and no stern seat, so we aren't that thrilled with it as we enjoy hanging out on the hook, and there's not much seating for our family of 5.

If anyone is looking for this age/type of boat, I highly recommend you take a look. PM me for info. Engines look like they are about a year old. TWIN 150s!

After looking at it, my son wanted to climb on some of the other boats they had. An Everglades 230DC caught our eye and would really be a great boat for us, but it's M-O-N-E-Y.
