2000 Dauntless 160 Static Trim

Postby B.E.Coyote » Fri Jul 26, 2019 7:03 pm

Is my boat sitting okay?

These pictures were taken today. A 70-lbs dog was standing on whatever end I was taking the picture. There is an 80-lbs trolling motor on the bow. In the 160 DAUNTLESS are three large batteries in the center console, a heavy 90-HP engine, a half-full fuel tank, five gallons of water in a small transom live well, 15 to 20-lbs of trim tabs on the transom, a small cooler, and some fishing rods.

I had a 1999 Dauntless 18. I think you are just fine.

I agree, you are fine. My boat sits about the same in salt water, maybe slightly higher. In fresh water she sits perhaps just slightly lower than where you are. Certainly there's no major difference.
