I was here for years. I've had an 1985 18 Outrage, 1996 19 Outrage, and 1990 22 Outrage. We kept the 22 OUTRAGE for 12 years and sold it to get a SeaCraft. We've had the SeaCraft for 13 years and am not not planning to get rid of it.
A neighbor has agreed to sell me his 1988 17 Montauk that's been in his family since new. I'm looking forward to the restoration and am exited to own another classic. Cheers.

Re: Old (renewed) member coming back, I hope
Welcome back! I just signed back up after a five-year or longer absence. I bought a 1986 18 Outrage two weeks ago.
My bud just got back from the Bahamas in his Potter 23 with a 300 Suzuki he just restored for like the third time. Three 23's went across and back. I really like those 23's even though they can sink.

On my 24th Whaler. Currently in the stable: 86 18' Outrage, 81 13' Sport(original owner), 87 11' Sport, 69 Squall(for sale cheap).

Still in SC?
My SeaCraft buddy was a bit nervous going 109-miles to get to the first island. He was looking at the electronics and seeing 3000-feet-deep water.
The one guy (Danny) lost his fuel cap so he put a rag in the hole for a week or so until he got a replacement. He had to drain his Racor like 20 times, and then he ran out of gasoline just inside the inlet. I guess he was draining more than just water— glad I didn't go.

Yes...22 classic. I loved that boat but the wife hated it. I still own 4 Whalers but I changed jobs in late 2013 and I really don't play on the computer at home much so I just kinda lost touch with this site. I think my last attempt was just before the change with a whaler rendezvous and as you can see with the one I posted on July 25th, it did not get much action.
