"Sōlace, the latest project by Everglades founder Stephen Dougherty, won in the category of Best Powerboat Under 35 feet, as well as Best Powerboat Overall, for the new Sōlace 345."

This new hull sure looks a lot like our old classic Boston Whalers. Must be they did what they were supposed to do.

The hull design at the forward end looks very familiar.

That SOLACE 345 must cost a fortune. It also is extraordinarily complex in its rigging, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and systems. I appreciate all the modern technologies, but I really like the stark simplicity of my c.1990 Boston Whaler.

VERY interesting design. . "Fish Through" stern area. The keel is the lowest part of the boat - not the motors.
