I'm looking for a pleated white vinyl for my driver's seat on my 1987 17 SSL. I ordered “off white” and it was too gray to match the white. I was wondering if I could get you guys to help pick. I'm not sure how consistent these photos are[in linked images below] so here is the link to the WRONG one I ordered.

If you are looking for OEM, skip the DIY and order cushions from the only ones who have the OEM materials and craftsmanship, Anderson's.

Re: Boston Whaler 17 SSL vinyl upholstery color
I already bought everything - foam, board, etc.
But! I'll email them and see if they can sell me some pleated vinyl.

Don't be upset if they say no.

Re: Boston Whaler 17 SSL vinyl upholstery color
[I have] realized a few things:
—My 17 SSL boat’s current upholstery, while in serviceable condition, is bleached white from aging. The bow cushion is the original color, but had been replaced more recently than anything attached to the boat, looks so much better.
—[Great Lakes Skipper, the vendor who website was linked to in the initial article but never mentioned by name] is sending vinyl material samples.
—I made a wrong-color seat with PVC backing material. It was easier than I thought, but—boy—are my fingers raw from stretching vinyl. I will re-cover with a better color.
—Tena from Andersons seems to be very confident in their product. One day I'll order a set as my other seats wear out.
