Classic Whalers in Mobile

Postby Masbama » Mon Apr 13, 2020 4:23 pm

I went for a pleasant boat ride this past Saturday on Dog River, a river that starts in the city limits of Mobile, Alabama, and empties into Mobile Bay.

The classic Whalers were out in force. I must have seen a more than a dozen classic Boston Whaler boats of all sizes. What impressed me the most was seeing four Montauk 17 boats from the 1989's with their original OMC 90-HP engines just humming along.

To see well-made products still being used is always good.
