Q1: Other than having a head and being larger, what other advantages are there to a 210 MONTAUK compared to a 190 MONTAUK?
Q2: on either model, what is the advantage of the larger engines offered?
Q3: on either model, does the smaller engine get the job done?
I don’t need to go 50-nautical-miles-per-hour.
I want a boat to be able to handle multiple guests.
My head says 210 but my bank account likes 190.
I plan to buy a used boat made between 2004 and 2014.
To owners of both a 190 MONTAUK and a 210 MONTAUK: give me a list of advantages and disadvantages between them.

"Get the job done" is an ambiguous criterion.impag10 wrote:...does the smaller engine get the job done?
Boston Whaler does not sell boats with engines that are not capable of operating the boat properly. Boston Whaler publishes extensive test report data about the performance of their boats with each engine offered. Any difference in performance will be clear in the test report data. I recommend you read the test report data for any Boston Whaler boat and engine combination you are considering buying, and you should assess that data to see if it meets the criterion of getting "the job done."
