WTB Outrage 22 (1989-1993)

Postby irishcreamer » Thu Aug 25, 2016 12:03 am

Seeking a clean Outrage 22 vintage 1989-1993 (94??) with:
- Welded bow rail
- Full width splashwell dam
- Glass gunwales
- NO bottom paint

Flexible on power, console, trailer, location and timing. Ideally freshwater only (upper midwest???). Looking to move up from my Outrage 18.

Generally located in San Francisco. Will be in Minnesota for the next week.

Thinking of selling your boat? Have a neighbor with an unused 22? Just like to talk Whaler? Drop me a line!

Thank you,
Sean

Did you look farther down the MARKETPLACE page? That's the best classic 22 I've ever seen.

Thanks, Tim.

Assume you refer to LakeGenevaWhaler's 22 full transom? That is indeed a clean boat. However, I am looking for an open transom.

Yes, that's the one I was referring to. I did not see that you were looking for an open transom - is that what "full width splashwell dam" implies?

Yes the full width splashwell dam is one of the open transom layouts.

In MN through the weekend...

Sean.

You would absolutely love Tony Korigalos' 22. I know I misspelled his last name. Greek guy. My buddy bought his former 27 Montauk "Red Dot."

He had his 22 for sale a bit back. He wanted 40 or so for it maybe 6-8 years ago. Not sure if it sold. I saw it at the dealership new when I picked up my 17.

The entire boat was grey and black, like my 17.

If I remember correctly, his 22 was a Guardian, 1998.
Single merc 225 and a full transom well. First I've seen ever.

There were 2 other 22's delivered, both to commercial fishermen, but standard splashwell.

Appreciate the responses. Still in the market and looking for a later model year 1989-1993 Outrage 22.

FISHNFF - Thanks, Brian. I know Tony and have seen many pictures. Sweet ride however seemingly out of my price range.

kookadala - Thank you for highlighting your boat. Those banana hulls are great however I am really looking for a late 80's model Outrage 22. Good luck with your sale!

Outrage - Thanks again for reaching out. I am looking for a late 80's model.

Best Regards,
IC

*bump*

Will be in the market again this Spring for a late 80s / early 90s Outrage 22 center console. If you have or know of one that may be for sale please let me know.

Thank you,
Sean
