1965 Newport for sale

Classic 1965 Newport Boston Whaler for sale. 17 foot. Original mahogony console and seats. Boat is in good condition. I am the 2nd owner of this boat, (since 1974). This boat has been used by three generations in my family. I am reluctantly upgrading to a newer and bigger boat. The motor is a 1987 Evinrude 70 H.P. and has not run in 10 years. The trailer is a 1980 Little Dude. this boat has been trailered and stored in a garage for most of its life except for 2 seasons docked in the water. There was no Newport in 1965. The earliest cousin to the Newport was the 16 Katama and that was first made in 1969. In 1974 the 16 Newport was released and in 1976 it was the 17 Newport with the updated bow smirk.
