Need Estimate on Value of a Squall

I have one of the first Squall's complete with centerboard kit, rudder, and sail kit. The sail is shot and needs to be replaced but is still in good enough shape to serve as a pattern. The interior of the hull has "scalloped" from age and needs to be wet sanded and possibly painted and the exterior needs to be buffed and polished. No trailer.

A young man in our neighborhood has asked about purchasing it to restore and I have no clue as to it's worth. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Give it to him free of charge and be happy somebody can use it and is interested in refinishing it.

I agree with Joe not many people have interest in old sailing dinghies like that no matter the BW brand.
Have the kid restore it and make sure he invites you for a sail when it is done.
Sell it for a token ($10) to transfer it legally.

With the complete kit, I'd say it's worth at least a few hundred dollars to the right buyer. So many of these have lost the important bits of hardware, and it's becoming a rare thing to find a complete unit.
