I have a 1980 Outrage V20 for sale. I purchased it last October hoping to have time to fix it up and use it, but I just don't have the time to spend on it. It's a great project boat that anyone with minimum skills could have running in no time.
The Good:
Hull gelcoat is in very good shape with no soft spots and good shine
Wood is in very good shape
Gas tank was replaced recently and has not been used since it was replaced (previous owner did this)
Has not been in water since 2011
Very little extra "holes in deck"
Have original Ritchie compass and many original gauges (will post pics)
Have leaning post cushion (will post pics)
Have original windshield in great shape (will post pics)
Have new battery box
Have new igloo cooler with cushion
The Bad:
There is no original whaler hull id or id between the motor mounts (boat is registered with a CT issued hull id - it came with that)
The boat has no motor or rigging.
Has two soft spot on deck on either side of center console. (from my reading this was a common problem with these boats and can be fixed by injecting epoxy into the void)
Trailer has no paperwork and needs some work. It does have working lights and no problems with road performance, but needs roller work and hull in sitting on fenders, so rollers need to be raised (see pics)
