Yeah- The definition of a New York minute. This was a free Offshore 27 for the price of a pair of Yamaha 300's. Even if the monster from the Alien movies was real and occupied the cabin space, it would still be a good deal. If I was in the market, I would have pounced on this in seconds.

As a general rule when man is trying to sell his boat give him a chance and if you have nothing nice to say pls dont say anything at all. Why rain on somebody parade and his pride and joy . I find zero problems buying boat with 1700 hours. Chuck maintained those Yammis better than somebody that has 10 hours in 10 years. Boat sold quick so congrats to new owner and enjoy the boat and let those Yammis serve you another 1700 trouble free hours.

There is a reason most commercial watermen and fishing guides use Yamaha outboard engines. It's not atypical for the commercial users to put over 1200 hours of hard use on their outboard engines every year, especially in the Florida Keys where the boating season is every day, year round.

To criticize a sellers product is, at best, bad manners. To do so and be incorrect is really low.

Simply amazing looking! My favorite Whaler with my favorite engines. Out of curiosity, do you have any speed and fuel consumption stats? I'm not in the market but if it were 1.5 years ago, I would have pounced on it in a second. Best of luck, and I'm jealous of whomever the lucky buyer is.

Top speed with Yamaha SWS 19in Props was 57mph so far. I haven't had the opportunity to try the Yamaha SWS II 21inch Props or the Mercury Rev 4 19 inch Props. I did not track fuel much, but cruise at 40 was I think 1.4 to 1.7 at around 4100rpm. Last I remember on the Yamaha gauge was 87 miles using 63 gallons at all different speeds. The F300 engines are great on this hull.
