For sale: a 1986 Boston Whaler Montauk with a 2006 90-HP Mercury Optimax engine. The boat is an almost all-original Montauk with the bow and side rails as well as all the teak. The gelcoat is in decent shape and the exterior was recently compounded and waxed.
The engine is a 2006 90HP Optimax that has 88.8 hours—probably the lowest hours for the year model on the market. The engine has a digital Mercury Smarcraft tachometer gauge that reads straight from the ECM on the motor. The engine fires up the first time every time and has been a great engine.
Here is a list of items it comes with.
*Lowrance Mark 5 X pro depth sounder - about 3 years old.
*Hydraulic Powerlift jack plate.
*New 22 gallon fuel tank.
*New 72Q Igloo cooler with mount.
* Bimini top with aluminum frame.
*New spare time mounted on the trailer
*New galvanized Danforth anchor and rode.
*All required safety gear.
The trailer is a Shorelander galvanized trailer with spare tire. The lights all work as well. I have towed this boat to Corpus at 70mph and had no problems. It's ready to go.
The boat is stored inside a shed and has been a freshwater boat for most of its life.
Let me know what questions you have. I will show the boat and run the motor for serious buyers.
No low offers or offers to sell it for me. I don't need to sell it and I don't really want to sell it.
I have the title for the boat and registration for the trailer.
