This boat, motor and trailer are in very good to excellent condition and everything works as it should. It is located in Norwell, MA.
The flying top and forward shelter are Mills canvas on the original aluminum frames with no holes and only one very small patch on the forward shelter as shown in a photo, and with the Mills connecting windshield. The bow and console windshields have no cracks. The bottom paint was applied by the prior owner. We have trailered the boat. I was informed that the prior owner (of 20 years) kept it in the water for a couple of weeks every summer in Maine. The upholstery is in good condition with minor cracks at the edges. There is also a bow cushion (not shown) which does not match the existing cushions. All wood is solid. There is slight crazing of the interior typical of this vintage Whaler but no soft spots or weakness in any part of the boat. The stainless railings are complete. I located, purchased (for $150) and am including four 60 degree railing tees which were original to a Whaler Newport as the prior owner (for reasons unknown to me) replaced those which were originally on this boat with universal tees. I replaced the console floor cleats and the risers (behind the gunwale) with seasoned solid mahogany. The front hatch appears to be original and in excellent condition.
The motor is a 1998 Mercury 90 hp ELPTO sold, installed and always serviced by a Mercury dealer in nearby Hingham, MA, with plenty of power for skiing, tubing or cruising, and with compression of 125 in all 3 cylinders according to his service notes last Fall. The binnacle is Yamaha. The controls work properly. In addition to the aluminum prop currently mounted on the outboard as shown in a photo, a stainless steel Mercury Quicksilver prop (number 48 72764 A5 17P) comes with the boat, as well as a service manual for this outboard which I purchased for reference.
The trailer is a 2006 Venture in excellent condition with new hubs, springs, keel rollers, lights, winch, and winch strap installed in 2016 and an extra rim and tire. The boat is properly loaded on the trailer, and the axle was moved to provide the proper tongue weight.
We purchased this boat intending to give it to our daughter and son-in-law when they returned to our area from his overseas posting, and I did or had the work done mentioned above to get it fully in proper condition for them, but they will now be there for another few years. We are selling only because we are not using it.
I am asking $9250. This posting is also on the Boston, MA craigslist: https://boston.craigslist.org/sob/boa/d ... 37374.html.
To see the boat or for more information, reply by message to me on this site or call the cell number given in the craigslist Reply box.
If I am not successful in posting all photos here, I can send them to you separately by email.

I was unable to load more than the three photos on the original posting, but more photos appear on the craigslist ad mentioned above, and I can send additional photos to anyone requesting them.
