For-sale: a 1972 Boston Whaler Tashmoo for $2,000 and located in Bradenton Florida. The hull is in good condition for the age, center console has been refinished with new gel coat. Selling with title and trailer but no motor.
Tashmoo was a great design and not one commonly seen. It has forward and rear decks that can be used as casting decks, or you can put the cushions up front and lounge around. With the included canvas, you can basically camp on the front deck. I ran it with a 90hp Yamaha, but as with most of the 16's it can plane with a much smaller engine.
Cushions and custom canvas forward shelter were new in 2013 and have been mostly stored since then. Also have a downrigger mounted from when I lived in the PNW. Selling because I am stationed in CA, and my dad is planning to downsize so can't store it any longer.
Asking $2000. Willing to separate the canvas and the downrigger. The canvas may fit other 16 and 17' whalers, but only local pickup at this time.
See Craigslist ad for photos and contact email.
