When offering something for sale for Best Offer you are conducting an auction. You should establish a "reserve" price and keep yourself from responding to silly offers. You could offer the boat for Best Offer over $10,000 or whatever you may care to establish as your reserve.

I'm confused. Is the boat in the water or on dry land? Having a compromised drain tube and sitting in a slip for a "few" years would not be good obviously.
On my 24th Whaler. Currently in the stable: 86 18' Outrage, 81 13' Sport(original owner), 87 11' Sport, 69 Squall(for sale cheap).

I really couldn't think of a better way to weed out the looky lu's, than posting this item as the second bullet point. Could you?

Now I am totally confused [in regard to the direct question about the boat presently being in the water with a leaking hull drain].

Technically this is a 1990 Whaler 25 Walkaround (Wide beam) w/ Whaler Drive. 1989 is the California registration year. Pictures attached.

SOLD... turned into a partnership actually. A couple days on craigslist in two California markets produced about 30 inquiries, probably close to 20 serious enough to consider the re-power concern. Very popular vessel design here on the coast of the Eastern Pacific.
