For-sale: a 1986 Boston Whaler 27 Full Cabin, "ZIZI", for $54,999. Located at Barbeau, Michigan, near Sault Ste. Marie.

This boat has received many updates over the past five years. New Evinrude E-TEC G2 225 H.O. engines were installed in 2015 with electronic shift and throttle controls and a NMEA-2000 display for engine data. The engines are mounted on the original Gil brackets. The E-TEC G2 engines provide exceptional performance and fuel economy. ZIZI was originally rigged with Evinrude 225 two-stroke-power-cycle outboard engines.

Other updates:
  • Lowrance HDS 7 & 3G Radar
  • New Radar Arch
  • New Canvas
  • Bottom Paint

A triple axle trailer with new bearings, and fresh tires are included.

What is the tow load, and is this so big that it's classified as a "Permitted Load"?

I'm not sure of the exact weight. I would guess it is right around 12,000 lbs.

It has a 10 ft beam. Yes, you would need permits to tow it on the road.
