Looking to potentially sell my 1977 Montauk and am hoping to get some opinions on what it may be worth. Thank you in advance for the help.

-Second owner, we purchased the boat in 1984
-Unsure of hours on motor, we put an estimated 20-30 hours per year on it
-Motor has new trim/tilt motor and has always been maintained.
-Bimini top
-Custom aluminum tanks
-Boat has always been kept on a lift that is covered
-Trailer is included but is only used to pull out over the winter for servicing/winterizing motor. Not sure if lights work (probably not)
-Boat is in Southern Maryland

Thanks,

Chris

Due to Covid, used boat prices for Boston Whalers are through the roof.

Where your boat would be worth ~7K pre-covid, the current market price would be in the 10-12K range. This price also reflects that it is winter.

Be prepared for a ton of interest, many naysayers and low-ballers.

Are you actively trying to sell the Montauk? Have you set a price?
