210 Outrage Leaning Post Livewell Modification

Postby alvarz » Sun Jul 03, 2016 1:32 pm

Greetings to all and thank you for all the valuable information you have provided me thus far while I silently surfed the forum over the last four years. I own a 2007 210 Outrage with the leaning post livewell option that I'm contemplating removing for a barebones leaning post/seat. My purpose is to gain a more open area as I don't use the live well, and prefer to troll using artificial lures.

I would appreciate your input in regards to the problems that I will likely have to address: the deck openings, the through hull fittings leading to the live pump, etc. Thanks!

Phil thanks for the diagrams. I see the piping comes thru a single access port, which I imagine I can fit with a tank cover. Then the screw holes would need patching - Can anyone say if that would require fiberglass or simply caulk?

I'm in Fort Lauderdale.
