Dauntless 13 Electric Windlass
Windlass
It would be very unusual to install an electric windlass on a Dauntless 13 but certainly worth doing if the owner has a disability making handling ground tackle difficult.
You will certainly need a second battery dedicated to the windlass, some heavy electrical conductor and perhaps a relay to wire the control and windlass to the battery. Overall you will be adding a bit of weight. It will also be important to ensure the outboard engine charging output will be sufficient to maintain the charge of both the starting and windlass battery.
