Revenge WT Helm Area Side Panels Fasteners

Postby floater » Mon Nov 21, 2016 7:22 pm

Not sure what they are called but on either side of the boat near the helm, on my 1988 Revenge WT, there are those two upholstered side panels. They have oval shaped holes in them and you are able to store stuff in there. I'd like to replace the wood backing on both sides as they have weakened over time. They are held on by some small plastic 'pins,' but I don't know what to call the plastic pins or where to get them. Look like door panel trim stuff on cars. Thanks

I would check with Tena at Anderson's.

My REVENGE W-T has those side panels but the openings are rectangular.

If you are seeking a source of the auto-door-panel type plastic fasteners, try an auto part store; I have seen those plastic finned fasteners for sale there.

I tried several auto parts stores and no luck. All the parts they had either had 'caps' on the ends or were to skinny. I found that they are called Double End xmas tree retainer clips. Looks like I can order them on Amazon. Thanks guys
