Postby fina » Fri Feb 03, 2017 11:18 am

Has anyone ever converted a RAGE to outboard from a jet?

Thank you for the answer.

Do you know where pics or posts are available?

No--I don't. I'd have to use the SEARCH for the OLD FORUM to find them. Go to

http://continuouswave.com/whaler/oldForum/

and use the search string there. That's what Phil did to find those threads. Try various search terms. As I recall, there is not a very detailed, step-by-step, illustrated account of a conversion. Ironically, I think one fellow had his converted boat stolen after he finished it--certainly a sad outcome.

The general process will be to remove the jet drive and the inboard engine, then repair all the holes in the hull, and reinforce the transom for attachment of an engine bracket to mount the outboard.
