23 WALKAROUND: Survey of Owners Who Have Added Floatation Bracket

Planning on adding a flotation bracket to my 1991 23 WALKAROUND, and then closing-in transom. Anyone done this yet?

Please clarify the term "floatation bracket."

I did this on my 1984 Outrage 25 a year ago - pictures are in a post on this site. I really like it.
