Dimensions of Teleflex Standoff Bracket

Postby fishcatchr » Tue May 02, 2017 11:05 am

Does anyone have this on their boat and can get me some measurements? Or does anyone know the dimensions? I need to know the distance from the transom to the center of the tube and then the width of the bracket. Tried calling seastar/teleflex but got an answering machine.

Also tried searching the web and the 'old forum', came with nothing. Any help is appreciated!

Perhaps this view will give you a sense of the size:

I presume you are thinking of using it on an older 13-footer. I think the clamp for the actuator must be about 1-inch ID, and that can also give you a scale for other dimensions.

I am not sure what dimensions you are looking for. If you can be more specific, I can measure for you. If this is about where to locate the steering post/swivel assembly, it is very forgiving. The pipe that passes through the clamp is just a standard tilt tube. If the post is a little to port or starboard, just adjust where you clamp the tube.
