Replacement Rocker for Rocker Switch

On my 1999 Boston Whaler 21 Outrage most of the rubber coating on the dashboard switches is rapidly deteriorating. Looking for a source for new rockers just the rocker, not the entire switch.

Are they made by Carling? Look at Carling C3-A Contura rocker switch actuator only (no switch). FP Marine in Florida has them for $2.50 each.

Good source Phil, thanks.

Just ordered 8 covers and the tool to remove the actuators.

Got my replacement switch covers for the Carling rocker switches on the dash panel of my Boston Whaler boat. The old gummy covers shown below:

New covers shown below. I changed the switch illumination color to blue for the raw and fresh water switches and added icons to the covers for the bilge pumps--I could never remember which switch was which.

Old and new switched with illumination:

And if you decide to order covers, get the Carling removal tool. For $2.50 it is a bargain. And eight new covers and one tool put me right at the $25-minimum for ordering.

Thanks again to Phil for the hyperlink to the vendor. And no more black sticky finger tips.

Looks really good.

Credit goes to Gary (Frontier) for the source.

Those illuminated Carling rocker switches look very cool. I now want to go boating after dark just to see those illuminated Carling rocker switches in a variety of colors.

The switches have always been illuminated, since the day the boat was built. I only changed two of them to blue.
And I like running at night. When I ran dive charters I preferred doing night dives over daytime dives.
