I've posted this topic here before as my fuel fill cap was stolen last fall on my 1987 Revenge W/T. Since then I've contacted Twin Cities Marine, looked on Ebay and tried to find a replacement cap with no luck. Seems the only option is to replace the whole fuel fill assembly. If anyone has other ideas (custom fab?) let me know. Unfortunate situation for a small part.
Thanks,
Pete

Re: 1987 Whaler fuel fill cap
Let me suggest one possible solution. My suggestion is based on the notion that in 1987 it would be very likely that Boston Whaler would use a common, off-the-shelf part for the fuel filler cap. On that basis, call one of those big marine flea-market surplus stores down in Florida, and ask them if they have just a cap. (The one I visited about 12-years ago seemed to have just about everything in the world from old boats.) Even if you had to buy the whole fuel fill fitting just to get the cap, it could be worth $25 or so to get it.

Not having to replace and install the whole fuel fill fitting would be worth another $25.

Yes that is the plan at $500 minimum if I can't find a cap
