Awlgrip fairing compound

Postby jccraveswaves » Sun Jul 30, 2017 7:33 pm

Any advise from any one who has used it would be great.. I am about to be done with all my sanding. Just finished up repairing a bad scar through the gel coat and in to the first layer of glass in the bottom of my 1986 15' ss cc. It just keeps raining down here in Orlando Florida!

Yeah, I'm with ya on the rain. Not the normal afternoon 20 min rain storms. Haha.

I didn't use Awlgrip, but I used the Total Boat Fairing on my 13 and was very happy with the results and ease of workability, sanding, etc. comes in two parts that is mixed 1:1 and has about a 20 min work time. The Total Boat line from Jamestown is great and always free shipping. Typically arrives in 2-3 days here to FL.
