Outrage 22: Remote Control Cable Lengths

Postby Banshee34 » Mon Aug 21, 2017 6:02 am

Hello. I'm re-powering a 1984 Outrage 22 with Super Console. I need to know the correct lengths for throttle and shift cables and hydraulic steering hoses. I think 20-foot cables and 18-foot hoses but not sure.

I recommend you use a flexible tape measure and take your own measurements. I would hesitate to order cables based on random advice from others.

The "correct" length for cables and hoses can vary with the type of remote control used, the type of hydraulic steering actuator used, and the number of engines used.

I have the same console with twins. My throttle cables are 21ft on the port, 19ft on the starboard.

I replaced my control cables but don't have an electronic receipt to check.
