27FC to CC conversion

[Has a Boston Whaler 27 FULL CABIN model ever been converted to a CENTER CONSOLE model?]

I am thinking about removing the cabin on a 27FC Whaler Drive. I've restored lots of Boston Whaler boats over the years and know what I'm in for. I wasjust thinking this would be a interesting project. Maybe run some 350-HP engines.

I am thinking that if you want to end up with a beautifully restored Boston Whaler 27-foot center console, it would be much easier to start with a 27 CENTER CONSOLE CUDDY than to start with a 27 FULL CABIN. See

I am thinking that if you have a 27 FULL CABIN in nice condition there is a market for that boat as it was originally built, and I am thinking it would be a shame to cut up such a nice boat to make a home-made hacked up Boston Whaler out of it. I am thinking you would be destroying much of the value of the hull in doing such a conversion.

I am thinking that Boston Whaler enthusiasts tend to look for classic boats that are in their original factory condition as much as possible, and I am thinking Boston Whaler enthusiasts tend to avoid hulls in which a previous owner has made some substantial alteration to the structure of the boat.
