Hi there. I am in the market for a boat cover for my 1985 Super Sport 15. I was hoping someone might have a recommendation for a brand they had a good fit with for their Super Sport 15 of similar age with bow rails approximately 12-inches tall. Also, I have a custom backrest to original driver's seat that increases backrest height by approximately 16-inches.

I looked at West Marine; they did have one that was Taylor-Made brand for 16 to 17-feet "Whaler Style" hulls for about $300. I am looking for something a bit more economic than that--if possible.

Many manufacturers seem to make covers only for boats with a triangular bow. Since there are not a whole lot of marine outfitters near me that carry covers I was hoping for a recommendation before ordering any on-line to avoid having to return covers for bad fitment.

Carver makes fitted covers for many Boston Whaler models. Your custom seat may interfere but you can consult with them. It will be difficult to find a fitted cover of decent quality and durability for $300. Here is a link to Carver. http://www.carvercovers.com/

Hello. There are many options to choose from for your boat. I found a Carver-brand cover made of Sunbrella that fits my 160 Dauntless very well on this site: http://www.coverquest.com

You simply specify your brand, model, and year, and [the website] gives you three to four options with various color choices. I didn't need to spend the $1,100 for a Mills cover. My boat is a 2003. I wanted a medium duty cover that would be suitable for towing and long-term storage which was about [$550].
