1999 OUTRAGE 28 Windshield

I finally was able to run my 1999 Boston Whaler Outrage 28 for a full season last year. [The boat has] a hard top, and there is canvas that attaches to the frame of the windshield. I was thinking how nice the one-piece windshield must be on the new Whalers.

How [can a 1999 OUTRAGE 28 windshield be modified to one-piece like the newer models]?

I still have plenty to do on my Whaler; she is getting pretty old and has many cracks and bruises.

If your boat is similar to the photo below, I would proffer to make a full one piece windshield would take a boat builder fabricating a template and ordering a custom glass piece with trim.

Doable but very expensive.
