Hi, I need to buy two 90-degree rail T's for my 1967 SPORT 13. I believe the original rail is 7/8". The T needs to slide on from the end, through the curve, and then fitted in the middle of the rail.

Do I need the 7/8" T or the 1" T?

It may sound like an obvious answer but my concern is when sliding on will the 7/8" one get stuck in the curve of the rail?

You may need split T fittings.

Jim, what is the difference between a T fitting and a split T fitting?

A split-T fitting is a two-piece fitting that assembles onto the railing.

That will work perfectly. Thinking back, I believe the original was a split T but it was so corroded I had to remove. I temporarily (for 8 years) used a plumbing T.
