1962 13-footer Transom Lift Eye Locations

Postby Sixt8cuda » Fri Mar 30, 2018 10:38 am

I have a 1962 13-footer that at some point was modified. I’ve scoured the forum for the exact diagrams and specs to install the two transom lift eyes but came up short. Does anyone have specs to the exact location of these? I’m trying to restore this beautiful boat back to as original as possible. Thank you in advance.

Thank you jimh. I’ve noticed the approximate location through numerous pictures and yours is helpful as well. I’ll eyeball the location on the transom and start drilling. Thank you again.

Also you can inquire with Boston Whaler customer service to see if they have an old assembly drawing that shows the intended location. It is quite amazing how much data Boston Whaler retains about boats it manufactured 50-years ago, and how easy reaching their support people can be, and how friendly and helpful those people are with inquiries like this.
