2003 170 Montauk: Replacement part for sump cover plastic door catch

Where can a replacement for the black plastic hardware on a 2003 Boston Whaler 170 MONTAUK boat that is mounted on the inside of the sump cover which keeps the cover in place on the deck be purchased? Thanks Tim

Tim - unfortunately that part does not carry its own part number. As you can see the factory parts listing and diagram show it as part of the cover assembly.

You should call Boston Whaler Customer Service at 1-877-294-5645 and ask for the manufacture of the part number 1689752 cover's door catch.

RIDGE--great answer; thanks for looking up the drawings.
I suspect that a suitable replacement might be found at good hardware store. I bet that is where Boston Whaler found the door latch they're using.

That is not a whaler-made part. Search for Perko 0559DP black plastic marine door catch.

Thanks for your help Ridge,VZE and JimH. That is the correct part#. You can also pick them up at West Marine also.
