I’m in the process of installing [a replacement console made by Specialty Marine] for the Nauset.
Strangely behind and atop the panel where the steering is installed there is a support bar. The Teleflex steering unit does not fit behind this panel without cutting into the support bar. Has anyone run into this interference fit?
