"Sweet Samantha" becoming an Outrage

Hello all,
This is my first post on here, but not my first time on the site. I've gotten lots of useful tips over the years working on my last boat (17' classic montauk). I finally cracked and made an account since my new project needs extensive work and I'm going to need some help. I may have gotten in over my head on this one.
Let me start off with this; I got this boat on a trade deal. I started with an old car and after several deals,I bartered my way up to this! The best whaler is a free whaler right? Well maybe not but I figured since I basically have no money in it then it would be a safe project for me. So here it goes.
The boat is a 1980 Revenge 22 BUT the cabin was pieced out, removed and halfway converted to a center console. I drove down to Alabama to get her, thinking I could re use the cuddy. After bringing it home and further inspection it is not feasible. Most of the wood support pieces are rotted and lots of cracks in the cuddy. So.. as the title implies, Sweet Samantha is going topless. My plan is to finish converting her to a center console, I know i know, some people will be mad about me not restoring back original but its just not possible without a ton of money and time. The way I reason it, Im saving her from the boneyard.
The good:
-Hull seems to be in good shape
-1998 Evinrude Oceanpro 175 runs great
The bad:
-Entire boat needs thorough cleaning
-Needs new bottom paint
-Two soft spots in Deck
-Gunwales are rotted
-Lots of unsealed screw holes
-Cuddy rivet holes
-Bow rail holes
-Center console holes
-Will have to make new deck lids
-Needs new center console
-Redo wiring
The plan: Create a decent looking center console with T-top boat. Doesn't have to be a showboat, it will mostly be used to scuba diving and spearfishing around Panama City Fl. My #1 priority is getting all of the holes sealed to prevent further water intrusion. Will be looking for new center console as well as this one is ugly as heck. I'm planning on making a for sale post for the Cuddy windows and parts, not sure what they are worth if anything. I will take pictures throughout and keep y'all updated on my progress. If anyone has any advice for me or knows of other posts I should read please let me know. Also, since I'm new to this forum and forums in general, if I am doing something I'm not supposed to, also please let me know. I won't take offense to it.
