Dauntless 13 Remove Rear Deck

I have a 1995 Dauntless 13 with a deck behind the center console. I would like to remove that decking to add a reversible seat.

The above is close to what I have [but the boat does] not have the chair.

I don't foresee any problems with this modification. I would like any input as to any problems I might incur.

Also is there any other way to get more room for fishing?

I am getting to old to keep climbing up and down.

After much searching around I am just going to mount a chair on the casting deck and one on the anchor compartment lid and try and go from there. Well it is not a casting deck as it comes with a padded cover but that is what I am calling it.
