CONTINUOUSWAVE

Just started looking into upgrading from the mechanical steering to hydraulic on my 15' Supersport and wanted to hear from those that have done the same. I'm sold on the "feel" an accuracy of hydraulic, but have not looked into the mounting hole and if the steering wheel has the same location relative to the console. I wasn't sure if the console needed a backing plate if the cutout is different or if the steering wheel stands off the console due to the difference in helm size.

There's nothing wrong with the mechanical steering I have, but planning to upgrade next month.
