Sakonnet Console and Seat Plans

Postby Skip Berry » Mon Dec 24, 2018 12:35 pm

I am restoring my 1970 Katama. The fiberglass side console is in bad shape. I would like to build a mahogany center console and reversible pilot seat similar to the Sakonnet. I have found the diagrams for locating attachment points in the hull but can not find any plans for the console or seat. I am aware of the plans offered by Ward Grafton. I contacted Boston Whaler. They suggested I look on this form.

All of the available drawings that are hosted here at continouswave are indexed at

http://continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/drawings.html

Once Boston Whaler got up to speed on e-mail and began to freely send out their old drawings, the need to collect them all and catalogue them here became less necessary, so that project stopped.

I have updated my website with the early 16-foot SAKONNET and NAUSET woodwork drawings that include the complete console, pilot seat, and front deck. My previous site had become inoperable recently.

I have restored the previous Whaler Woodwork website for early 16-foot SAKONNET and NAUSET drawings at the following address. Please ignore the other address recently posted above.
