Hey guys. I'm a new boater with a 1995 Dauntless 18. It sure has been a learning experience.
The 1995 DAUNTLESS 18 has problems I'm trying to whittle away. I know the boat hull is wet, but I don't know how wet. I'm willing to cut in a hole or two, and after I pull out the wet foam use hatch covers to mask the assault.
How can I narrow down where the foam is waterlogged?
Is there a way to tell where the water is so I can at least give repairing it a try?
I have been searching the forum and everything I see says BIG JOB. Thanks.

Please explain the basis or the method used to determine the 1995 DAUNTLESS 18 hull is wet, that is, there has been ingress of water into the interior foam of the Unibond hull. I am very interested to learn your method.

Exactly what makes you think the foam is wet? It is very difficult and usually takes MANY years of neglect to get a wet hull.
