Circular saw blade

Postby Venchell » Wed Feb 05, 2020 3:13 am

Before I start hacking up expensive plywood, is there a recommended circular saw blade for cutting Okoume 1/4 and 3/8? Thanks.

It was too long ago for me to recall the specifics but I remember using a very fine toothed blade for cutting marine plywood with an okoume surface ply.

If you're using a 7 1/4" Skilsaw, I'd use a 60T carbide blade. Use a straightedge to guide the saw, cutting with the good side of the plywood down. If using a 10" table saw, try a 60 or 80T blade, cutting with the good side UP. Important that the blade is sharp and not wobbling.
