The metal quick disconnect NTP fittings continue to be reliable.

Honda, Suzuki and other brands, while expensive, are worth the investment.

Actually Suzuki copied [their fuel line connector] from Chrysler back in the 1970's. I see a few manufacturers use them now. They are simple and reliable and basically function the same as an air chuck. If an air chuck can hold 120-PSI of air and not leak, I highly doubt these will leak fuel.
On my 24th Whaler. Currently in the stable: 86 18' Outrage, 81 13' Sport(original owner), 87 11' Sport, 69 Squall(for sale cheap).
