My neighbor has a 2019 210 Montauk and has purchased the freshwater [washdown] kit (complete) from [a Boston Whaler dealer].

Q1: in a factory-installation, where is the pump is mounted?

Q2: where is the filter mounted?

Q3: is cutting an access hole inside the console necessary to to install the fill and vent assembly?

[The neighbor's 2019 210 MONTAUK] boat has the saltwater washdown option, and the wiring and control switch are already in place. The connector for the freshwater pump is in the center service area below the splash well.

I suggest you suggest to your neighbor that he visit WHALER.COM and use the OWNER RESOURCES to look for the various ASSEMBLY DRAWINGS for the boat. Generally the assembly drawings will show the location of items like pumps and through-hull inlets or outlets associated with them. To find a dozen or more detailed drawings is common, so check through all of them.

Thanks. The resource drawings do not show specifically where the pump and filter go. I will try Whaler customer service. They may direct me to my local dealer, which I will avoid.

Whaler's owner resources library has a serious flaw. Not all the diagrams are available for all the model years. For example, to find a drawing for a 2019 Montauk 210 fresh water system, one needs to look at all the years prior to find if it is listed. In this case, the 2013 model year documents include drawings.

While I have spoken to Boston Whaler about this shortcoming and deficiency, there is little interest in rectifying it.

Steve - I am emailing you the PDF.
