Montauk 170 Karavan Trailer Winch

The stock winch on my 2006 Karavan looks like it needs replacement.

What should be the new winch rating for a 2006 Montauk 170?

Are there different mount styles to choose from?

On the old forum, I have seen recommendations for [Dutton-Lainson Company] and Shelby Industries.

I have a Seachoice (#52251) 2000lb on my 170 Montauk. Works great.

All of the different winch brands will have various hole patterns to fit most trailer configurations.
