I am looking for a short section of the rub receiver for a 1979 Boston Whaler NEWPORT, two 1-foot sections would be great.
[The boat's] previous owner used a dirt embedded ratchet strap over the gunwales to secure the boat to the trailer and it cut through the rub rail insert, receiver and into the gelcoat. The rest of the receiver is in good shape and I have the rub rail insert. I would just butt-end the replaced sections.
